Alpaca Fiber Products

We can’t take credit for making these rugs, trivets or yarn, but we were definitely hands-on in raising our herd of alpacas, and thus the fleece that became rugs and yarn. Over the course of seven years we grew our herd to 36 animals. From daily feeding and watering, to annual grooming, administering inoculations, and the miracles of successful breeding that 11 months later produce a cria (baby alpaca), becoming shepherds was an amazing adventure.
